Paige thought it best that we bring John more often up to DC so we can pimp him out to some of Robert's friend's because, " he's to much for southern maryland " This is one of the first times John has been up in DC hanging out with the big kids, and he came … Continue reading John’s sweet weekend

Do it your way

Running in the dark.
This is not fun. This was probably the scariest run yet. I know what your thinking, why dont you just get reflectors or a flashlight? Well you know what...i didnt have one this morning, and I was ready to go at 530 for my morning run and the sun was not. The sky was gorgeous … Continue reading Running in the dark.
And im spent…
Okay so I finished the marathon today. I even managed to start the race 10 minutes late due to the fact that we overslept, like in the Seinfeld episode. I finished the marathon in 4 hours and 34 minutes. I didn't get any action shots unfortunately, my devoted fan--my sister was sleeping, and plus pictures … Continue reading And im spent…
The man.
Three days in counting….
Till my death. I still havent ran today. Im too anxious dying this weekend. The marathon begins at 8:00 am March 22nd. I have three days. Technically today should be my longest run before the race to give myself some time to rest before the race. Oh my god. I am an idiot.
The FCC and Family Guy
Family Guy always has a wonderful way of capturing the essence of certain topics, (in this case of our government's most hypocritical agency) in musical form. Im telling you, give it a year or so we will be time travelling to 1984. That or Stalin is rolling in his grave with excitement.
Belated Birthday Bash
The afternoon couldn't have gone better. My greatest friends stopped in, my favorite Aunt and Uncle came to visit from Laurel, and even my boss stopped by? The food was great. Lex, Ina and I had a blast prepping some appetizers like stuffed mushrooms, corn/avacado/tom salsa, hummus, chicken and corn soup...Dad prepped the best part … Continue reading Belated Birthday Bash
“Thanks for embarassing me”
Those are the wise words of my little brother, John Douglass Ashworth. He is about 6'5", typical Xbox addict in high school, 17 years old. Now usually John is a pretty good driver. Two years ago, August 2007 John "accidently" rear-ended another car in my brand new Yaris. I swore to him he wouldn't drive … Continue reading “Thanks for embarassing me”

Good Ole St. Mary’s County
This is what Im talking about. I was surfing some Health Headlines on FoxNews onlines this morning. I come across the following story. I click on the link after reading this headline, "Woman Hospitalized After Sex Power Saw Mishap": http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,509036,00.html Whoa. Where on earth do these types of things happen? Only to find out in … Continue reading Good Ole St. Mary’s County
New Moon
I cant descibe how excited I am for this movie, which probably wont be out for another 8-9 months. The books were great, but waiting for Edward in this way is pure torture.
