Sometime during the week the thought occurred to me that this week for my friday night ritual of Karaoke, I needed to do change it up a bit. Well I did that and probably went a bit overboard. I went to my favorite boutique in town where my dear friends helped me find the most perfectly over-the-top dress for Karaoke. The dress was covered with red sequins complete with a red collar and straps that ran from the collar to the back detail.

I couldnt do this alone so I begged Robin to dress up with me. I must’ve done a good job–since I never see Robin in anything but pants…She looked so adorable in her satin red dress. Much more appropriate for a prom than mine :)

So we walked in together as prom dates friday night and everyone was shocked to see our attire. We laughed and had a enjoyed seeing everyones delight in our “prom dresses”. The night was great for the most part, i couldnt sing too well in the dress due to the restrictive nature of the dress. I tried my hand at disco but im not too great at the genre I discovered. Next time ill just stick with what ill know.
