I celebrated Valentine’s Day a couple days early with Jason for a couple reasons.

First of all, who wants to celebrate on a Monday evening? Secondly, it was a beautiful day on Saturday afternoon so we decided to take advantage of a beautiful afternoon. I had a nice day today as well (Sunday). Went to Cornerstone church with my friend Devin which was a lovely experience and met Suzanna for coffee. Wonderful weekend overall. I tried not to think about work but it was inevitable. The best part was that I did not do any work! Even though I brought tons of work home!

Anyway back to Valentine’s day. I have valentines day cards picked out for the staff at work: Disney princess cards for the girls and NBA cards for the boys. Chocolates for the boss, and for my good friends a few surprises. Jason already got part of his Valentine’s flowers, a nice clean apartment to come home to, heart shaped cut outs with little sayings on them on the walls… a frame of us..candles and a nicely cooked meal. I have one more surprise for him tomorrow.

I am working a half day tomorrow and have a busy day planned….Bruce and I are driving to L.A. to see the Michael Bolton and Kenny G concert! I love it :) We are going to have a great time.
