I am planning on making a bender trip to Maryland later this week. Mostly to assist my mom in her recovery process at home. That is hoping she is released in the next few days to a weeks time. I fly out Friday. My cheap butt in my scramble for the best price took the cheapest/most inconvenient flight to Maryland, by way of landing in Dulles Airpot on a Friday afternoon in DC. I am gone for 10 days, while I am so happy to see family, I have some unsettled feelings. An update on Mom, she had a rough day today. Her stomach is still unsettled, she was unable to keep any sorry of clear fluids down by mouth and had a Nasal-gastric tube inserted to assist while she was conscious. Since the operation she has not been able to walk too much, but the goal tomorrow is to get her moving. The more sedentary she gets after the surgery the more likely she is to stay sedentary. I hope that she makes more progress day by day, and that I have more to positivity to report the next time. In the meantime, the girls are saying their prayers, and we all thinking of Mimi and hoping she continues to improve.
