SGs Workout Plan, Spring Recap

SGs Workout Plan, Spring Recap

For those of you who have been wondering what happened, well I have silently been making small changes. Lately, increasing exercise. Two-three times a week a walk 3 miles to get the kiddos to school first thing in the morning, Beyond some added exercise, I have made some small changes to my diet. Less fried food, less sugar, virtually no alcohol. In the past months facing the challenges before me with my weight-loss journey, I have made the decision to under go surgery to have a Gastric Sleeve, in the coming months. I have begun the workups. I have been deemed a good candidate for surgery after my initial Bariatric MD consult and primary care referrals. I am nervous about the process. I know deep down though that I cannot continue on this path, and intend to use the surgery as a aid or tool in my journey to avidly lose weight. I will say I am most disappointed by recent measurements in my height, that I am not 5’8” inches. I am actually 5’7”. Which puts my current BMI even further off the charts at 42. I have a ton of work to do. When I began this late last year at least to hold myself accountable, to take the step to verbalize and visualize my path of weight loss, I have not overall made much change to lose a lot of weight. I am proud that i have made this decision, I am excited to begin this next chapter. I do well when I am given structure, confines and stick with something consistently. Now here is my chance, for the rest of my life to live in a healthy way. You better believe I am FUCKING ready to make this happen.
