Everything is going to be okay

Everything is going to be okay

Sometime the simplest concept is the most difficult to practice. Today my best friend, shared an album with me that I immediately dismissed. Its message is one of positivity, and just that being okay. At first I had this preconceived notion, judged the material, the album. When I settled into the beat a little more I could feel my energy calming and vibing with the music. It has a great message, and reminded me of what I’m practicing in one of my grad school classes-countertransference. It’s easy to pass judgement. It takes more skill and practice to use countertransference and look beyond our preconceived notions. To be dismissive of an action, a step, a goal, is the easier route absolutely. Accepting with an open mind and making a move is what holds most of us back. It’s incredibly daunting.

I started a video blog yesterday on YouTube. It is focused on my weight loss journey, but Ill be sharing also tidbits on mental health, daily life, good stories, funny moments. All in all another way to document this part of Seascape’s adventures. If you are interested in following, my YouTube channel is Seascape228 or the seascape chronicles, not sure which will get you there. It is a little daunting to start this, with so much progress to be made and so much to accomplish in terms of my goals. I wanted to document the daily successes or tribulations as I try to take this on.

So its early morning, I enjoy the stillness and peace of the morning. I feel extremely upbeat about the YouTube Vlog, sharing my progress here of “Sarbear’s Workout Plan Reboot”, and overall continuing to share my life. Reflecting on what my bestie shared with me I am reminded of the positive message and energized to believe that I am going to make the steps I need to, because after all, everything is going to be okay.
