Today I woke up way to early, only to have everything not work out the way it was supposed to, to have my family have an attitude, to have a full rest of the week, bills that need to be paid, way to many things to accomplish at work, people not returning my emails/calls. …So I come home…to the wagging tails and pants of my favorite goldens–Bailey (my baby) and Shadow (the family golden). I took Shadow out back by the river and I absorbed the beautiful view that I all too often take for granted. Bailey and I then geared up for our daily run. ( It was harder today because of the remaining ice on the road). These dogs save me in so many ways and they have an amazing healing power. Such that I wish I could bottle them up and take them with me everywhere.

OH YEAH for those interested… weekend mileage (estimated fri-sunday) 15-17 miles. VIA treadmill at avg 6 grade incline. Not easy. Also not alot of distance. Which means I have to make up for it this week with at least two longer distance runs to be each about 9-10 miles. Today with Bailey I ran about 4.5 miles due to ice on the side roads. I hope I can make up for it in the morning.
