BAILEY, companion, houseguest, and always the charmer

BAILEY, companion, houseguest, and always the charmer

Where to start with this one..

Bailey the running companion

Bailey has been my running companion for many years. He is always ready to go for his runs early in the morning. In fact, he will always know when it is time to go when I am getting dressed and pick up my socks and shoes. He can run rather far too, usually about 7-8 miles without a break, well he will stop to sniff around, do his business, or look around for kitties.

Taken this past weekend of us

This picture was taken a couple of days ago. Bailey was at that time, a good boy. This was right after I got my haircut so I was showing it off and he just wanted to show off how cute he was too.

Well now I will get to the reason of this post which is why Bailey is such a silly dog. We had company over on Sunday night for Football. One of Jason’s friend’s from school brought his dog over and Bailey was so excited to see another dog. They played, sniffed each other mostly. However, after an hour of playtime, Bailey decided to mark his territory by pissing all over our carpet. And not just a little, at least 1 minute worth of pissing. We didn’t know what to do we were in shock. So know we have this huge pee stain on our carpet, which has been dried up and scrubbed down with Resolve… We were able to get most of it up…and the silly dog (Bailey) was banished to the outdoor patio..

In summary, Bailey is still learning. He has not messed up in the house until yesterday. I am hoping that this is just a one time thing. Remember that he is NINE years old and way too old to be acting like a puppy…
