Another exciting Sunday morning in Ocean Beach for the Redskins game. Jason and I wake up early to eat breakfast at the local joint down the street from Winstons. We both order coffee and omlettes.

After a quick breakfast, and a couple more pictures:

We head to Winstons, the local Redskins bar where all local DC transplants/Redskins fans gather to cheer on their favorite team. Or rather drink away their disappointment, yell and scream at the big screen.

After arriving early like usual for the early 10am game (1pm EST start time) we grab our usual spot at the tables and Jason orders a couple beers. I have one beer, and for the remainder of the game drink water. Jason on the other hand, depending on how good or bad we are playing will either drink alot, or his normal amount: 5-6 beers.

Here we are enjoying ourselves in the first half of the game. Which of course was not very exciting. The Redskins at the half were down 27-7. There also happened to be a very annoying Cowboys fan sitting right behind us with the most annoying scream in the universe. Jason wanted to punch her in the face by the end of it. By the second half, the Skins started to play much better and we tied it up with 4 minutes to play in the 4th quarter. The bar was going insane:

Jason was getting pretty revved up by this point. You can see by his expression:

So nevertheless with a tie score, all the Redskins need to do at this point is stop the ball, not let the Boys score. And they do. Shocker. We fought a good game but couldn’t pull out a win against our arch rivals. It was fun while it lasted. Jason had a good time. I have to admit that I have fun when I am with him too.
