I am officially changing jobs. I am sad to say that I am leaving NAMI Jacksonville. I will be starting with Guardian Ad Litem as a Case Advocate Manager in two weeks. Honestly I am somewhat relieved and ready for a change. The new job has some wonderful benefits, including tuition reimbursement. I hope to be going in the right direction for my career in social work. The past two years I have been volunteering for Guardian Ad Litem as a Child Court Advocate. I love working for the children. I am still torn by love for my team working for NAMI and this opportunity. I carefully weighed my options and leaned in this direction. I cannot wait. I start October 24, 2022. I will offically be going off Disability as well. This in and of itself is a huge deal. I have worked part time while receiving SSDI for years. I am excited but also nervous. I know this is the right way to go, part of me is trepadious of this change. I am ready though. Ready to take on whatever life brings this way.

Thanks BFF! All your support means the world to me. Thanks for being there. <3 Sarbear
