Spent the majority of the weekend laid up in bed with strep throat. I was extremely lethargic, sore throat, fever and body aches. Finally went to get tested and get a prescription for antibiotics. Other than my exciting weekend I keep checking in on my final paper and exam grades on the canvas website. It’s been frustrating but equally refreshing forcing my body to slow down and rest. Jason has taken great care of me. Now he is catching the sickness. Luckily the girls seem fine so far. Right now I am in my study, where I have candles lit. I have the projector going and playing a mind-numbing but addictive tv series. I am lucky that the downtime fell when it did, between semesters. So far I am enjoying what’s left of the Sunday afternoon as I rest and recover.
