Birthday Weekend

I had a wonderful time this weekend. I spent Friday and Saturday with my cousins, Aunt and Uncle in Santa Monica. After a long run on Saturday, I relaxed with my family. Saturday night they took me out for dinner to a place called “Chin-Chin” in Brentwood, CA. I had the Singapore Noodles, which is one of my favorites. It was great. My Aunt and Uncle signed me up for the LA Marathon for my birthday, which was very sweet and I did not expect it at all. I had been waiting to sign up for the Marathon, and time to sign up was running out. I spent the night with them and Uncle Lee told me some great stories about the family.

I woke up early the next morning to come home to San Diego. I called all my family back east, and it was so awesome to talk to all of them on my birthday. I even talked to my brother, John John (who hates talking), and of course Grandma. When I got home, Jason had cleaned the apartment, and brought home the most beautiful roses. He cooked my favorite, Chicken Curry. He also gave me some spending money, so I promptly went to Sports Authority to pick out a marathon outfit. We had a nice Oreo cake for dessert, which said, Happy Birthday Sarah. I had a great birthday. Thanks to all my family and friends for making this one a great one!
